It's been a while since I played a good shooter game and 'Earth Defender' has done a good job to entertain me. It's true that sometimes the best defence is a good offence and this game shows off the saying in a brilliant way. In this game you play by defending earth from hordes of aliens by placing bombs. It isn't everyday that aliens attack earth so here is a great time to have some fun.  (more...)

The ever so popular Hero of Sparta II was released not too long ago and received great feedback from the whole of the world. The second installation of the Hero of Sparta series continues the story of Argos, where he finally returns to the shores of his homelands. Now the popular title has once again revved up its already impressive graphics to play the host of a even more spectacular HD version of the game for your big screen-iPad. The game should play exactly the same way as the iPhone version, one of the only huge differences being the customizable controls.   Check out our review here if you're not sure whether or not to buy Gameloft's interpretation of God of War for iPad.  It's currently available in a few countries, and should hit your store when you reach August 19th.

Hero of Sparta II for iPad ($9.99 USD)

There is no doubt that Chaos Rings boasts the best looking graphics along with some very smooth gameplay. Originally for the iPhone and iPod Touch, a new HD version has now been reinvented with 1024x768 resolutions just for the iPad. All in all, there is nothing really new which comes along with the iPad version but for such a beautiful looking game, enhanced graphics does make it so much more beautiful. Unfortunately the game will be a completely new purchase at a toasty $15.99 (Appstore Link).

Meanwhile the iPhone version is at a $9.99 discount.

Introduction: When I first picked up this game I had absolutely no idea what it was about. It wasn't until I started playing it that I realised how addicting and fun it was. A puzzle game with a nice story line and fun gameplay. I haven't played the original version of the game however 2.0 has been reworked from scratch and everything upgraded. In the story you take the role of Atlas, the King of Atlantis, where you will save your kingdom.

Over half a million people across the face of the Earth have played Tilt to Live. One of the best games and certainly most addictive games on the Appstore has finally been updated.

The new update introduces a new Frostbite Game Mode and a new weapon, the Burnicade. Agon has been updated to 1.5.1 and 7 new awards have been added to the list. A couple of minor fixes have been added and finally at the end of the note they hint that Tilt to Live for iPad will be coming soon. Stay tuned.

In the past few hours there have been multiple reports where the iPhone 4 has jumped the midnight queue and been sold to consumers hours before launch. There is yet another 6 hours until the midnight launch however some lucky people seem to have shopped around and found the iPhone 4 to be sold in some stores. Some stories also confirm that stores are asking for them back. Woops. That was a mistake.

The popular Hero of Sparta by Gameloft has just released its first sequel to the original game which was subject to various awards. Argos, a spartan, has finally reached the shores of his homeland, Sparta.   Escaping Hade's kingdom was only just the beginning.   Now Argos will be forced to face the wrath of the Gods and the consequences of his actions. Hero of Sparta closely resembles God of War for PS3 and PSP and it does a great job in providing gameplay which is just as fun. Although the original game was slightly repetitive the new sequel promises some more action. Improved functions including interaction with the environment, a new fighting mechanism and some brand new graphics. If you enjoyed the first one, there's no reason why you won't love this one:

Hero of Sparta II ($6.99)

It has come to our attention that the Logo we have now isn't what you readers want. So in that case, we thought we'd let the designers inside you express yourselves in this brilliant competition for you to showcase your skills.  There will be two parts involved in this competition. The first will be logo design and the second will be banner design.

Logo Design - That's right. We're looking for a brand new logo to replace the hand we currently have. We need the design to be 200 x 200 pixels and they must show the creative side inside you. We will not accept stupid entries. Surprise us. There are practically no limits. Relativity will put you closer to win though.

Banner Design - Simple. Just put your logo design in a banner design including the words touchAholics. The banner should be 80 x 400 pixels. The height is fixed however we'll let the width be slightly flexible so plus or minus 20 pixels.  This should be suited to fit at the top where the current banner is.
