One of the most awesome games out on the AppStore just got better.  Popcap have their latest update for Plants vs. Zombies approved by Apple, and it’s now available exclusively to your iPhone and iPod touch.  Despite the game being available in the iPad counterpart, the large developers seem to have ignored the update for it at the moment.  We’re not sure if they plan to bring the 12 new available achievements to the iPad just as yet, but with the new update you can on your iPhone.

The game was originally available on the PC until PopCap made the clever decision to apply it to the iPhone’s touchscreen.  It worked out to be a great game overall, maintaining it’s spot in the charts for several weeks.  If you still haven’t got the game, we suggest that you buy it immediately:
