Introduction - Admit it. This zombie trend on the Appstore is kind of cool. I mean who doesn’t like killing zombies? Now the Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team (SAHDM) has brought us a game where you can have the soccer skillz you never had to kill swarms of hideous zombies. Who ever thought that soccer and zombies could fit together like this? Only such an accomplished team such as SAHDM could bring us a game like this. SAHDM is a team of accomplished professionals in the game industry who’ve worked on games such as Plants vs. Zombies, Worms, Vin Diesel´s Wheelman, Terminator, Crush, Buzz, EyeToy Play series and Doodle Hex, among others.

From such an accomplished team, this game has absolutely no flaws. Pro Zombie Soccer brings a tightly packed explosion into this little monster. The gameplay is absolutely flawless and completely bug-less as far as I’m concerned. The character you play as is called Jax. You are an AWESOME soccer player whose skills have remained unnoticed by the world due to some unfortunate events. Now i won’t spill any more of the story but all I can say is that you will be surprised. This developers also seem to have a sense of humour which is great since they are able to express it in their game.

Most of the game will be played with your left hand as the aim of the game is to aim a soccer ball at the incoming waves of zombies. A pointer will help with the aiming and as you mash away at the zombies a power bar on the top left will charge up. When your power bar is fully charged you can choose one of the three special abilities to use – Fast Ball (super speedy ball that will return to you really quickly), a Power Ball (goes through enemies), some sort of super laser (self explanatory) and a explosive soccer ball (explodes on impact).

There are a variety of tricky zombies which can be killed in different ways. Aim for headshots or if you hold down a kick it will charge up and you can use a power kick. In the end everything will add up and you can submit your scores to Crystal. Of course, the game is fully supported by Crystal with achievements and all.

The only thing that I noticed missing was an options menu, but then again, I saw no need for one. What was even more interesting however was the music player in the ‘Extra’ menu. It allowed you to play game music from the actual game and a lot of this music was well made.

The final thing I wanted to congratulate the developers on would be the Art with a capital A. I’m a big fan of excellent graphics and this game didn’t fail to impress.

Everyone should go and buy this game straight away. 5 out of 5.
